U.S. Army Picks Sierra Nevada Corp. as Lead System Integrator for HADES

The U.S. Army said on Aug. 22 that it has picked Sierra Nevada Corporation [SNC] as the lead system integrator for its High Accuracy Detection and Exploitation System (HADES) under a contract worth up to $991.3 million. HADES, the service's future aerial intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) program, "will provide transformational increases in speed, range, payload and endurance," the Army said.
