BAE Systems was awarded a $75 million five-year indefinite-delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract by the U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) to develop and provide enhanced geospatial intelligence technical and analytical support, the company said Tuesday.
Under the contract terms, the company is to assist in the exploitation and processing of geospatial data and develop various intelligence products for INSCOM’s Military Intelligence Brigade – Theater Integrated GEOINT Divisions, the company said.
BAE’s specialist team will also assist the Army with its next-generation geospatial intelligence developmental and experimental intelligence collection systems and technologies.
“We are proud to support the development of solutions that enhance the situational awareness and safety of our men and women in uniform,” DeEtte Gray, president of BAE’s intelligence & security business sector, said in a statement.
Work will mostly be performed within the U.S., but with some work occurring overseas.
