U.K. MoD And IBM Enter Air Surveillance Agreement

IBM [IBM] and the U.L. Defense Equipment and Support department of the Ministry of Defence announced July 28 a five-year strategic agreement valued at some $37.7 million to manage the U.K. Air Surveillance Command and Control System (UCCS). The IBM system Is used to identify every one of the aircraft in the skies above the United Kingdom at any moment.
