TSA Seeks Sources for Next-Gen Metal Detectors

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has issued a pre-solicitation notice seeking sources for the next-generation of Enhanced Metal Detectors (EMD-2). The agency plans to establish a Qualified Products List based on the overall performance of each offeror's EMD-2 against TSA specifications and reasonableness of price. The QPL will be open and contractors will be able to submit white papers to the contracting officer at any time. Sol. No. HSTS04-09-R-ST2014.
