In a recent interview, President-Elect Trump criticized problems in the Navy’s Constellation-class frigate program, attributing design change issues to the Biden administration. According to a transcript of the interview with conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt, Trump obliquely referred to the Constellation-class frigate program as going well until DoD officials changed the design. “You know, in Wisconsin, I gave out a great contract for essentially destroyers.
