Triumph Group [TGI] and United Technologies Corp. [UTX] on Friday said that Triumph has agreed to acquire the former Goodrich Corp. pump and engine control systems business from UTC, giving Triumph capabilities in a market that it doesn’t currently serve. Terms of the deal, which is expected to close in the first quarter of 2013, were not disclosed.
