Teledyne, Leonardo DRS Unveil Counter-UAS Solutions

Teledyne FLIR and Leonardo DRS [DRS] this week introduced new counter-drone solutions based on systems that have been proven, or are being evaluated, in battlefield environments. Leonardo DRS, teamed with defense technology company BlueHalo, recently demonstrated the Counter-Unmanned Aircraft System (C-UAS) Directed Energy Stryker designed to defeat a range of small drones weighing less than 1,320 pounds. The heart of the solution is BlueHalo’s LOCUST 26-kilowatt laser weapon system that can defeat Group 1 through 3 UAS beyond three kilometers…
