Stock Repurchases Boost Northrop Grumman’s Per Share Earnings Despite Lower Income, Sales

Bolstered by its strong stock repurchase program and solid operating performance, Northrop Grumman [NOC] yesterday reported per share earnings that handily beat analysts’ expectations even though sales and net income declined slightly in the first quarter.
