State Dept. Soliciting for AFIS Solution for Guatemala

The State Department has issued a Request for Proposals for an Automated Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS) for Guatemala to replace an existing system established in the mid-1990s. The new system will consist of a database of prints scanned from ink-based cards as well as newly-scanned biometric records. The system will integrate information from all of the country's security agencies that require the identification of people. Sol. No. INL-09-Guatemala-AFIS. Respond by Sept. 21.
