State Department Approves Deals With Saudi Arabia For Missiles, Vehicle Logistics And Helicopter Support

The State Department has approved several possible deals with Saudi Arabia, including $670 million for TOW 2B (BGM-71F-Series) missiles, $300 million in logistics support for their Land Forces Ordnance Corps and $106.8 million in maintenance support for its Aviation Command’s aircraft fleet. The Defense Security Cooperation notified Congress Thursday of the three Foreign Military Sales (FMS.)Under the missile deal, Saudi Arabia would receive 6,600 TOW 2B’s (BGM-71F-Series) and 96 fly-to-but lot validation variations.Raytheon [RTN] is the prime contractor for that…
