State Department Approves $2 Billion Abrams Sale to Bahrain, Javelins For Morocco

The State Department on Tuesday approved two potential foreign military sales (FMS), a $2.2 billion deal for Bahrain that includes 50 M1A2SEPv2 Abrams main battle tanks, and a $260 million purchase by Morocco for hundreds of Javelin FGM-148F anti-tank missiles. General Dynamics [GD] builds the Abrams, and a joint venture between Lockheed Martin [LMT] and RTX [RTX] supplies the Javelin.
