The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR), Atlantic, has issued a Request for Information (RFI) on commercially available network intrusion detection systems deployed at either host or network levels to detect unauthorized or aberrant behavior on the network. The information will be reviewed for the Department of Homeland Security System Assessment and Validation for Emergency Responders program, which aims to conduct objective comparative assessments and validation of commercial equipment and systems and provide those results with the emergency responder community.
