Sikorsky Completes First Tests For Marine Corps’ CH-53K Rotor Blades

Sikorsky Aircraft said yesterday that it has completed the initial rotor blade tests for the Marine Corps’ CH-53K heavy lift helicopter. CH-53K concept. Rendering: Sikorsky. With 12 percent more surface area than the blades on its CH-53E predecessor, the new blades are the most advanced that Sikorsky has ever produced, the company said.
