Shadow UAV Enabling Marines To Grow Unmanned Squadrons

The Marine Corps' decision to switch to United Industrial Corp. [UIC] AAI unit's Shadow unmanned aerial system (UAS) will enable the service to field a third unmanned aircraft squadron (VMU) while also moving to a more modern and reliable technology, a Marine Corps official says.
