Senate Committee Approves Bill To Reform Federal Security Service

The Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee yesterday unanimously agreed to approve a bipartisan bill that would reform the Federal Protective Service (FPS) by boosting its capabilities and training. The FPS is responsible for the physical security at 9,000 federal facilities nationwide.
