Saronic Introduces Corsair, An ASV With Range And Speed To Keep Pace With Surface Fleet

Autonomous surface vessel developer and manufacturer Saronic on Wednesday unveiled its latest, and largest new craft, Corsair, which it said gives the Navy and allied partners capabilities not found in other unmanned boats. The 24-foot-long Corsair has a range of 1,000 nautical miles, 35-plus knots of top speed, and a 1,000-pound payload capacity to conduct missions ranging from maritime domain awareness to deliver kinetic and non-kinetic effects.
