PwC Aerospace And Defense Analysis Shows Uptick In First Quarter M&A Deals

Following a relatively slow fourth quarter in 2013, mergers and acquisition (M&A) activity in the aerospace and defense sector picked up in the first quarter of 2014 but still remains “sluggish,” according to quarterly report by the consulting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). There were 12 deals announced in the first quarter valued at $300 million each versus eight in the fourth quarter valued at $500 million each, PwC said, adding that “the economic and industry environment remains relatively unchanged.” The analysis…
