SEAKR Engineering Logo

SEAKR Engineering, Inc. will develop, refine, and test advanced space digital processing prototypes for Protected Tactical SATCOM (PTS) anti-jamming capabilities through a contract with the Space Enterprise Consortium, managed by Advanced Technology International. SEAKR’s work is pivotal in enabling the Air Force to reach its mission goal of resiliency in space and ground communications to tactical warfighters in both benign and contested environments.  The award highlights SEAKR’s past success resulting in 120 delivered digital communications processors, routers and payload controllers, of which over 100 are on orbit.

By leveraging its strength in RF communications, SEAKR will perform to contract specifications by demonstrating Protected Tactical SATCOM (PTS) anti-jam capabilities and requirements using prototypes and performance simulations.  SEAKR’s project focus will establish current baseline digital processor capabilities, define driving requirements and technologies for PTS anti-jam, establish processing component trade studies, and develop initial prototypes. The digital processing prototype is the foundation for anti-jam and traffic simulations to demonstrate realized enhanced performance. In addition, SEAKR will define processing system requirements and digital processor architecture to support a PTS Space Hub to manage traffic on board the spacecraft.

SEAKR’s processing systems span four generations of architectural capabilities supporting the full spectrum of payload processing performance requirements, with the highest level of on-orbit reconfigurable processing performance. By pulling from its established heritage capabilities, along with the continuous product and architectural advancement, SEAKR continues to define leading edge state-of-practice processing systems in partnership with the Department of Defense (DoD). SEAKR’s previous study and prototype advancements have successfully contributed to the DoD’s ability to solve highly complex challenges imperative in protecting the U.S. warfighter and National Security. Key technologies to be deployed and leveraged include: ADC and DAC Technologies, ASIC-based Processing Technologies, and FPGA-Based Processing Technologies.

SEAKR is honored to partner with and support the United State Air Force, Space Missile Systems Center in achieving significant developments in anti-jamming capabilities most crucial to the United States defense operations.
