Leidos Names Jason Albanese As New Health Group Business Development Lead

RESTON, Va., Nov. 29, 2018 /PRNewswire/ — Leidos (NYSE: LDOS), a FORTUNE 500® science and technology leader, announced today that Jason Albanese has been named the Leidos Health Group’s senior vice president of business development. Mr. Albanese will develop and manage the $2 billion plus group’s overall business strategy, maintain a healthy pipeline of business opportunities, and create strategic partnerships to meet objectives.

Mr. Albanese has 17 years of experience in various Lockheed Martin and Leidos roles spanning engineering, program management, and business development. Most recently, he was the Vice President of Business Development for the Defense Group’s Operations & Logistics Solutions where the team demonstrated very strong growth over the last two years, winning several large opportunities and penetrating new markets.  At Lockheed Martin, he led a team of more than 100 capture and business development professionals responsible for all new business pursuits across the company’s Information Systems & Global Solutions enterprise, which merged with Leidos in 2016. He was also responsible for leading cross-corporate campaigns and strategies focused on Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, Homeland Defense and Homeland Security programs and initiatives.

Jason holds a Master’s in Systems Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, a Master’s in Business Administration from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland and an undergraduate degree from Villanova University in electrical engineering. He is a graduate of the Lockheed Martin Engineering Leadership Development Program, the Executive Development and Growth Enhancement Program, and the Program Management Development Program.
