BELLINGHAM, Wash., Nov. 21, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — Emergency Reporting (ER), the leading cloud-based reporting and records management software (RMS) for fire departments and EMS agencies worldwide, today announced that under U.S. Army (Army) contract held by E-9 Corporation (E-9), the ER F&ES SaaS offering has been granted an Army ATO. This achievement is part of the strategic partnerships continuing expansion in the Federal and DoD markets. ER’s Federal SaaS offering is hosted in Microsoft Azure Gov within the ER Ultra Secure Cloud and complies with the stringent DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) security standards utilized by the DoD.

In order to be granted an ATO for the Army, ER and E-9 worked together to document RMF compliance. E-9 brings many years of DoD cyber-security credentials to the contract and is an ISO17020 audited independent assessing organization. ER has invested in the ongoing F&ES compliance and has become the most secure Fire and EMS Records Management Software in the industry through that process.

“Technology is constantly changing and adapting, and as a trusted Fire/EMS RMS provider for several U.S. Department of Defense installations and many other Federal agencies, keeping our customers’ data safe is our highest priority,” said David Nokes, CEO of ER.

“We’ve invested heavily in the ER strategic partnership which is supported by our world-class team of system administrators and cyber-security professionals who are charged with maintaining compliance with RMF. The work doesn’t end with the granting of an ATO. This level of security requires constant maintenance and vigilance, which E-9 is proud to support,” said John Plott, CEO of E-9.

This contract currently provides fire prevention and records management software to all Army fire departments, both CONUS and OCONUS. The comprehensive Federal Security Package (FSC) built by ER enables firefighters and EMS personnel to effectively schedule personnel, manage assets and inventory, comply with national safety standards (NFPA, NFIRS, NEMSIS, and HIPAA). The Army also utilizes ER Vision Risk Assessment software, which allows departments to analyze and categorize risks present in their geographical area, compare data to other departments nationwide, and generate an Occupancy Vulnerability Assessment Profile (OVAP) score for all buildings on or around base.
