The State Department on Wednesday said it has approved two potential foreign military sales of anti-radiation missiles used to destroy air defense radar systems in deals worth a combined $2 billion to Poland and the Netherlands.

The Advanced Anti-Radiation Guided Missiles-Extended Range (AARGM-ER) are built by Northrop Grumman [NOC]. The deal for Poland is valued at $1.3 billion and for the Netherlands $700 million.

The potential FMS for Poland, which is on a buying spree of advanced U.S. weapons, would cover 360 AARGM-ER all up rounds, eight guidance section spares, eight control sections spares, dummy air training missiles (DATMs) missile containers, M-Code embedded GPS receivers, and other related equipment.

The potential Netherlands’ purchase would include 265 AARGM-ER missiles, 15 fly-to-buy rounds, eight guidance sections spares and eight control sections spare, embedded GPS receiver, M-Code, DATMs, and related spares and equipment.
