Orbital Sciences Reports Higher Fourth Quarter Earnings, Sales

Orbital Sciences Corp. [ORB] on Thursday posted higher net income and sales in its fourth quarter on missile defense, launch vehicles and advanced space programs. Net income increased 22 percent to $16.9 million, 28 cents earnings per share (EPS), from $13.9 million (23 cents EPS) a year ago, on higher sales and operating margins in the Launch Vehicles and Advanced Space Programs segments.
