Orbital Sciences Contracts With ULA For CRS Missions

Orbital Sciences [ORB] said Tuesday it contracted with United Launch Alliance (ULA) for an Atlas V launch in the fourth quarter of 2015 with an option for a second Atlas V launch in 2016 if needed to fulfill its duties for NASA’s Cargo Resupply Service (CRS) program. These plans are expected to allow Orbital to accomplish all remaining cargo deliveries by the end of 2016 with no cost increase to NASA, according to a company statement. CRS is to deliver…
