Northrop Grumman Receives Navy Sensor Contract

The Navy has awarded Northrop Grumman [NOC] a contract to provide Advanced Threat Warning (ATW) sensors as an upgrade for large aircraft infrared countermeasures, the company said yesterday. Northrop Grumman will deliver 24 ATW sensors and five processors for integration onboard the CH-53 Sea Stallions under the sole source contract. The contract's value was not provided.
