Northrop Grumman Expects Next B-21 Lots To Be Profitable; Posts Strong Second Quarter

Northrop Grumman [NOC] officials on Thursday reaffirmed that the next round of production contracts for the Air Force’s new stealth bomber will be set at higher prices than the current low-rate production lots, highlighting that the next round of contracts are expected to be profitable as well. Contract negotiations for production lots covering the next 19 B-21s have not been finalized but not-to-exceed (NTE) terms were set in 2018 at a higher price than the current low-rate initial production (LRIP)…
