Northrop Grumman Delivers Final First Stage Rocket Under ICBM Program

Northrop Grumman NOC] said yesterday that it had delivered last month the final, first stage solid rocket motor for the Minuteman ICBM under the Propulsion Replacement Program. Remanufacturing of the motors includes replacing aging propellant and obsolete or environmentally unsafe materials and components. The first stage rocket motor was delivered at teammate ATK's ATK] production facilities in Promontory, Utah. Northrop Grumman's ICBM prime integration contract is headquartered in Clearfield and employs over 700.
