Nomination For Army Acquisition Chief Heads To Senate

The President yesterday sent the the nomination of Heidi Shyu to be the Army's acquisition chief to the Senate. Shyu has been acting assistant Secretary of the Army (Acquisition, Logistics and Technology) since the June resignation of retired Army Lt. Gen. Mal O'Neill, (Defense Daily, June 2).
