Nearly $1.4 billion for Extra Dozen F-15EXs Heads Up Air Force’s $3.4 Billion UPL

The U.S. Air Force's fiscal 2022 unfunded priorities list (UPL) includes nearly $1.4 billion for an extra 12 Boeing [BA] F-15EXs to help the service mitigate a looming fighter force structure problem. The U.S. Air Force would lose two squadrons of Boeing F-15C/D air superiority fighters if Congress enacts the service’s fiscal 2022 budget plan (Defense Daily, June 1).
