Navy Test Fired Korean Rockets From CUSV At RIMPAC

The Navy performed a live-fire demonstration testing a set of South Korean Poniard rockets from a Common Unmanned Surface Vehicle (CUSV) during the international Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) 2024 exercise based near Hawaii. The Navy said this successful test of low-cost munitions occurred on July 12 off the coast of Hawaii, with the CUSV first launched from the South Korean ROKS Cheon Ja Bong tank landing ship.
