Navy Awards Pratt & Whitney $152 Million For F-35 Initial Spare Modules, Trainers

The Navy on Thursday awarded Pratt & Whitney a $152 million contract modification for a variety of F-35 products, according to a Defense Department statement.The contract modification will procure initial spare modules, engine system trainers, support equipment and depot activation services and supplies. Pratt & Whitney spokesman Bradley Akubuiro said Thursday the contract award includes one lift fan.
