Navy Awards BAE $212 Million Contract For Maintenance on LPD-20

The Navy awarded BAE Systems a $212 million contract on Nov. 25 to perform maintenance on the USS Green Bay (LPD-20), a San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock ship. The award covers the labor, supervision, equipment, production, testing, and facilities needed to perform a fiscal year 2025 Chief of Naval Operations docking selected restricted availability for modernization, maintenance, and repair programs. The DoD announcement noted the award includes options that, if exercised, will raise the total cost to $239 million.  Work…
