Mako Missile Offered by Lockheed Martin For Close and Standoff Missions

In development since 2017, Lockheed Martin's [LMT] Mako missile did not enter Phase 2 in the U.S. Air Force Stand-in Attack Weapon (SiAW) competition last year, but the company is offering the missile for a variety of aircraft in close and standoff missions. "Named after the fastest shark in the seas, Mako blazes down on time-sensitive targets when every second counts," the company said on July 22.
