Lockheed Martin And Elbit Team Up For UK Maritime EW Program

Lockheed Martin [LMT] and Israel’s Elbit Systems [ESLT] signed a strategic teaming agreement to work together on the UK Royal Navy’s Maritime Electronic Warfare Program (MEWP), the companies said Sept. 13.MEWP is a procurement upgrade to the Royal Navy’s electronic warfare (EW) capabilities. It will be delivered in increments and is planned to be fielded on frigates, destroyers, and amphibious assault ships.
