Lawmakers Order Safety Probe of Regional Carriers

Four senior U.S. senators, including the chairman of the Senate Commerce Committee's aviation subcommittee, have petitioned the Department of Transportation's Inspector General to investigate safety enforcement of the nation's regional airlines.
