Ariane 5 Launch Postponed Again, After Glitch In Rocket A scheduled launch Friday of an Ariane 5 rocket carrying the Skynet 5C and the Turksat 3A satellites was canceled because of a last-minute glitch during a software test, according to Arianespace. A new mission date for liftoff from the spaceport in French Guiana, South America, will be announced as soon as possible, the company stated.
