L3Harris Nabs $587 Million Contract For Jammer EW Test Equipment

Naval Air Systems Command this week awarded L3Harris Technologies [LHX] a $587 million contract to design, produce and deliver various electronic warfare test articles and fleet prototypes related to the Next Generation Jammer Low-Band. The Aug. 26 award announcement said this covers 11 pod simulators, eight operational prototype pods, four jettison mass model pods, two captive mass models, two mission system prototypes, and two technique development systems as well as engineering support, integration, test and maintenance.
