Kratos Defense & Security Solutions [KTOS] and Israel’s RAFAEL Defense Systems on Wednesday said they have formed a joint venture to become a U.S.-based merchant supplier of solid rocket motors (SRMs), joining a crowding field of legacy and startups vying to meet Defense Department demand that exceeds current supply.
