Italy Will Hold U.S. Financially Accountable For Any MEADS Withdrawal, Minister Says

If the United States does not provide funding to complete the Medium Extended Air Defense System (MEADS) design and development ( D&D) phase, Italy will hold it financially accountable, the Defense Minister recently wrote in a letter to the Secretary of Defense and the chairmen and ranking members of the House and Senate Armed Services Committees.
