Indian conglomerate JSW Group will invest $90 million in U.S. startup Shield AI over the next two years to license and manufacture the small company’s V-BAT unmanned aircraft system (UAS) in-country, the companies said on Tuesday. In the first year, JSW will invest $65 million to establish a global compliance program, a manufacturing facility, and training, enabling the Mumbai-based multinational company to establish a local supply chain.
