Humanetics Expects $3.8M for Medical Rad Countermeasures

Humanetics Corp., a privately held Minnesota-based pharmaceutical company, says Congress included an additional $3.8 million in the FY '08 Defense Appropriations Act that is earmarked for the company to do continued development, clinical testing, regulatory approval, manufacturing and commercialization of a number of medical radiation countermeasures. Humanetics' lead drug candidate, BIO 300, is undergoing large animal efficacy and human safety trials.
