House Appropriators Approve $39.2 Billion DHS Bill

The House Appropriations Committee on Wednesday marked up its version of the FY ’15 Homeland Security spending bill, allocating $39.2 billion in discretionary spending, an $887.8 million increase to the Obama administration’s request. The committee’s version of the bill is essentially the same as that marked up by its Homeland Security Subcommittee in May (Defense Daily, May 28).
