Harris Corp. [HRS] yesterday said it has acquired Patriot Technologies, LLC, a small firm providing healthcare information technology, imaging and enterprise software solutions to the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Harris said that Pennsylvania-based Patriot has about 100 employees and will become part of its Healthcare Solutions business unit, which currently serves the Departments of Defense and Health and Human Services.
