Goodrich Selects TeraView Chem Detection Technology

Goodrich Corp. [GR] has selected TeraView continuous wave terahertz technology platform for use in its chemical agent detection system. Goodrich is developing a high resolution spectrometer to detect chemical warfare agents and toxic industrial chemicals with the support of the Department of Homeland Security. United Kingdom- based TeraView says it has also entered into an agreement with Goodrich to supply its continuous wave photomixers for the U.S. security market.
