Global Hawk Completes First Acceptance Flight of Block 30 Multi-Int Sensor Package

The newest Northrop Grumman [NOC]-built RQ-4 Global Hawk remotely piloted aircraft completed the first production acceptance flight of an operational Block 30 multi-intelligence sensor package, the company said yesterday. The May 25 Global Hawk flight from Palmdale, Calif., marks a new era of increased operational intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) capability flown with multiple sensors simultaneously from a single platform, the company said in a statement.
