GE Nabs $630.5 Million Contract To Support Super Hornet And Growler Engines

The U.S. Navy awarded General Electric [GE] a $630.5 million contract to repair, replace, and support hundreds of engine components used on the F/A-18 E/F Super Horner and EA-18G Growler aircraft.This firm-fixed-price performance-based logistics award is supporting 773 F414 engine components. The Navy said GE was the only firm solicited in a non-competitive contract in accordance with acquisition regulations.The work will mostly occur in various unspecified GE supplier locations and is expected to be finished by April 2022.Annual Navy working…
