GD Adds BioPharma Exec To Board

New GD board member Laura Schumacher

General Dynamics [GD] on Monday said its board has elected Laura Schumacher, an executive with the biopharmaceutical company AbbVie [ABBV], as a director. Schumacher is executive vice president, Business Development, External Affairs, and General Counsel for AbbVie, a $19 billion company based in Chicago and formed last year from the separation from Abbott Laboratories [ABT].
