NATIONAL HARBOR, Md. – Navy leadership in conducting a review of Ford-class aircraft carriers it expects to conclude within a month that could inform changes for the next pair of carriers, CVN-82 and 83, the Secretary of the Navy said Tuesday. “We are looking at [CVN-82] and 83 to review the costs, the designs, the systems to make sure that they make sense, and they have all the systems and requirements that we want going forward.
