API Technologies Corp. [ATNY]<E> has sold its teleMAX Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) robot to the City of Atlanta for $300,000, marking the company's first North American order for the EOD robot. API say the robot is for use at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. The 175-pound teleMAX can fit into a truck or van and can climb stairs and inclines at an angle of up to 45 degrees. It can also roll down the aisle of a passenger jet.
