F-35 Program and Lockheed Martin Say They’ve Begun TR-3 Deliveries

The F-35 Joint Program Office (JPO) and Lockheed Martin [LMT] said that deliveries of the first F-35s with the Technology Refresh-3 (TR-3) began on July 19. TR-3 is to allow the F-35 Block 4 upgrade--the integration of dozens of new weapons and sensors on the Lockheed Martin fighter.
