Eaton Corp.’s Arc-Alert Technology Tapped For DLA Helicopter Retrofit Program

Eaton Corp. [ETN] yesterday said it has been selected by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) to provide Arc-Alert™ aircraft fault-protection technology as part of a military retrofit program. The value of the contract has not been disclosed. Eaton will provide new arc-fault circuit breakers for 219 Marine helicopters including CH-53D, CH-53E and MH-53E rotorcraft. “Eaton has worked closely with our military customers to develop arc-fault protection technology that can be easily integrated into today’s aircraft fleets,” said Mike Ruple, director…
